Recently we secured a lease on a new premises on Pacific Highway Crows Nest, Sydney. Our first on street location in many years, we are very excited to be located near some other great retailers including Coco Republic across the road. This store will incorporate some exciting new design elements and we are happy to share with you the progress of the transformation of the building into our hottest new showroom! Due to open just after Easter, we will keep you updated as the opening day nears!

Your sofa or lounge suite is an important, central feature of your home design and correct care will make sure it looks its best for years to come.
Leather care
It is recommended your leather couches and sofas are cleaned and conditioned every three to six months and protected with a manufacturer approved leather care product to avoid them drying out and cracking. If this schedule is adhered to, along with a simple vacuum and dusting with leather wipes every week, your leather sofa will maintain its long-term softness and suppleness.
Sofa fabric care
A simple vacuum and a rotation and plumping of loose seat and back cushions every week will extend the life of your sofa’s fabric and foam. Also have your sofa cleaned by a qualified upholstery cleaning company annually.
Other tips
Avoid sitting your sofa in harsh sunlight as this can lead to fading. Also avoid positions close to air conditioners or fire sources, as this will risk moisture build up or scorching. Be wary of sharp objects that can scratch or tear the fabric and always cut off loose threads rather than pull them out. Quickly blot up minor spills and clean off any dye transfer or ink immediately with a manufacturer-approved product.
Never use general household cleaning products on your fabric or leather sofas, as they can be abrasive and too aggressive.
Fabric protection
Unless specified not to or your sofa fabric has an inherent stain resistance, it is advisable to have a fabric protection product applied to your sofa. This will increase the fabric’s water repellency and protect it from stains. It’s wise to consult your local OZ Design store to find out the best fabric protection for your sofa..
